Sabrina Christy grew up as part of the third generation of a horse and cattle ranching family in north east New Mexico. Her great grandparents homesteaded in Union County, New Mexico in 1919. Because of this, Sabrina comes naturally to her love of critters and the beauty of God’s Country. Under the tutelage of her mother, Brenda who was also an artist, Sabrina learned early on and was encouraged to use her creative eye, to put the vision in her mind to paper, canvas, etc. From the rodeo arenas to the branding pens; from the horse racing tracks to the homesteads; and the wide open country vistas of New Mexico that Sabrina grew up in; you’ll be able to see the influence and beauty in her artwork and books.
